News Corp nominates former Colombian President to board

(Reuters) - Media-conglomerate News Corporation said it nominated Alvaro Uribe, former President of Colombia, and Elaine Chao, former U.S. secretary of labor, to its board.

The nominees will stand for election at the company's annual meeting of stockholders on October 16, News Corp said.
